Hello,

This is my last image. It is a corridor of Danvers Hospital, a hospital was abandoned.

Where to happen strange phenomena, ghosts, apparitions and never go to the corridor of psychiatry.

Its dangerous. Anyone who enters, standing goes wrong.

DanversHospital.jpg

Made with Softimage XSI 6.5, Global illumination and Final Gathering and retouched in Adobe Photoshop CS3.

I hope you enjoy and greetings.

Good image.

Good modelling and impressive textures.

But, I really don't understand where does all the light comes from.

Lighting isn't as good as the rest of the work, too much diffused, this scene needs a more dramatic lighting.

For example, you could try a darker ambience, with volumetric lights coming from the rooms on the sides of the corridor.

This would be a great if you work out lighting.

I suggest to spend a little more time on this image.

Regards.

Hello,

Thanks for your answers. The blood are made in photoshop and blend with a "blood" pass of XSI.

There are 2 lights in the central corridor and one more in the left of the left corridor, but are area lights and not make hards shadows. I like more diffuse.

Thanks again. :)

When I said "it's too much diffuse" I didn't meant the shadows are too soft.

I meant the overall contrast and brightness of the image is way too uniform, like a daylight situation with only indirect light.

Otherwise, there's total darkness outside windows and doors.

This makes the situation incoerent in my opinion.
