After watching a TED talk, where a Hariri Pontarini Architects' associate explained the process to create a sacred building, I have been inspired and decided to re-create the Baha'i Temple in 3D and update my portfolio with brand new CGIs. This project focuses on experimenting with materials, textures, lights, cameras and atmosphere. The whole building, interiors and the surrounding city are modelled in 3Dsmax, rendered with Corona Renderer and post-processed in Photoshop. All the references used are available online, on the Architect's website and Pinterest. The project is divided into three sections due to the amount of work involved. The 1st section focuses on the exteriors and the surrounding city, Santiago de Chile. Each image shows a different time of the day, from the sunrise to the sunset.
