Indigo Renderer 4.0 pure GPU OpenCL render open beta

E' stata appena aperta la beta pubblica della v4.0 di Indigo Renderer, che oltre ad altre migliorie offre la funzione pure GPU rendering su qualsiasi GPU che supporti OpenCL (quindi Nvidia, AMD, Intel).

E' quindi il terzo sul mercato oltre VRayRT e Luxrender ad offrire questa funzionalità.

E' possibile scaricare il sw, fare benchmark su scene di test e testarlo sui propri progetti.

Funzioni attualmente non supportate ma disponibili a breve
* Architectural glass
* Double-sided thin material
* Glossy transparent material
* Normal maps
* Light layers

Funzioni non supportate e disponibili solo in future versioni 4.x:
* Sub-surface scattering / participating media
* Bidirectional path tracing
* Other render modes / channels: material ID, foreground alpha, depth and shadows
* Sphere primitives

Problemi noti nel GPU rendering:
* Some realtime changes in GPU rendering mode may crash Indigo
* Max path depth is limited to around 8 bounces currently
* Sphere primitives not supported currently
* Sky colour is slightly different on GPU
