  1. Thank you very much 'Matricola' I really appreciated your words Also, I'd like to share more 'technicals' view for those who could be interested by those kind of informations... Best, Alex'
  2. Thank you all for taking the time to respond to my thread! *DAiki, yes, actually I used Marvelous Designer for all the fabrics/ bed/ pillows that you can find in this scene. *Subale, I made the wood floor by hand since I used different size, bevel, and extrude settings... Also I used different maps 8and not just a color correction) to create those variations between each plank.

The home of inspiration IKEA | La maison d'inspiration IKEA 3ds Max, V-Ray, Photoshop Interior design: The home of inspiration IKEA | La maison d'inspiration IKEA Interior design: Based on original design by IKEA CG Animation/ stills: Alexandre Jarek (www.alexandrejarek.com) *Non-Commissioned* Additional credits: *Balloons 3D Models: BBB3Viz (http://www.bbb3viz.com) This project is based on photographies from IKEA's catalog. The main theme of the project was to create classic interior and match the reference images. From a technical point of view there is not much extraordinary. The modeling of the appartment is pretty standard. All fabrics, cushions ... were achieved through Marvelous Designer. The lighting is provided by a V-Ray Sun & Sky . As usual your comments and criticisms are more than welcome! 4. Hi everyone, Here is a personal project I made during my spare time. This one's called "Black on white | Noir sur Blanc". This project is based on "Black On White" project made by Parasite Studio Architects, located in Dumbravita Timis (Romania). The main theme of the project was to create a dark box containing private spaces surrounding by a series of white walls. Currently the interior design does not match the reality and was re-created for the 3D project. For external views I was inspired by the photographs Wenczel Attila 's. From a technical point of view there is not much extraordinary. The modéliasation is pretty standard. All fabrics, cushions ... were achieved through Marvelous Designer. Vegetation was established with Forest Pro (a great tool). The lighting is provided by a V-Ray DomeLight, using HDR skies + V-Ray Sun. Modeling and rendering in 3ds Max 2014 and V-Ray 3. Post-work in Photoshop. Animation Link: [media=]https://vimeo.com/90311728 The animation was based on stills pictures and took about 2/ 3 days of work in after effects. For this type of animation I was mainly inspired by the work of Alex Roman, Thiago Lima but also some videos made by Motyw. As usual your comments and criticisms are more than welcome! Softs: 3ds max 2014/ V-Ray 3/ Adobe Photoshop CC Additional Softs: Marvelous Designer/ Forest Pro/ Adobe After Effects... ps: you can see the full set here on my website www.effective3d.fr & grab freebies from my Facebook page www.facebook.com/effective3d

All models were done by me. This scene took me about a week to model/ texture it andanother week to complete the renders (post-prod include). I hope you like these. Criticism and comments much appreciate (ajarek.carbonmade@gmail.com). 13. Thank you both (Treddiano & Matricola). That help me to keep making 3ds @Matricola : For the wall I used a mix in the refl. glossiness slot (and none in the reflect slot). This mix uses mix sub-objects with bitmaps and colors. I will share you the exact parameters if you want in a couple of days. Best regards, Alex
