  2. Michele71 - Texturing Fontana Letizia Sardo

    Il file in allegato contiene tutte le mappe DIffuse, Bump e Specular della fontana di Letizia Sardo. Inoltre le mappe unwrap per le loro realizzazioni e i file .psd. Dato che durante l'importazione la mesh è risultata incoerente, ho dovuto aggiustarla e per questo, ho riproposto in formato .obj, .fbx e 3dsmax l'intero modello.

E' presente anche una mappa per il displace usata per la creazione del selciato (essa è utile se nel caso si volesse creare una texture per quest'ultimo)

    Simply script which allows the creation of Vray PhysicalCamera in 3dsMax2016

    In the last release of Vray 3.2 for 3dsMax, the Vray Camera does not appear; VRay uses the physical camera of 3dsmax.
    If you write in maxscript:
    [CODE] vrayCreateVRayPhysicalCamera() [/CODE]
    we can create the Vray physical camera "hidden".

    Quick Vray Camera, facilitates the work for us.

  8. (3dsMax Script) - IOR - Index Refraction

    Simple, harmless and silly script which allows you to view data of index refraction or IOR in the listbox

    Additional Info:

    Run Script normally: ToolsBar > MaxScript > RunScript...

    Little explanation:

    With button "Path Folder" you choose the folder "IOR" (attached with the script) in any directory you want. Note: DON'T change the name of folder!!!

    With button "Add IOR value" you open the file .txt where are written the values of IOR. You can here add new string of value and re-save the file. The new value will be added to the list. Note: DON'T change the name of file .txt!!!

  10. (3dsMax Script) - Explode face in Object

    Another script to explode the faces of a mesh into individual polygon. Created during my work, it is useful to be used in junction with PartcleFlow Script. In fact, there is the possibility of creating a PFScript (based on Allan McKay fragment PFscript) with the obj newly created to be used within the event Bird.

    Important:

    With objects that exceed the 900/1000 faces, the script can takes a long time and 3dsMax CAN CRASH OR FREEZE, especially when you check item "X-Form". So I highly recommend you SAVE YOUR WORK before working with "Explode face in Obj"

    Questo semplicissimo script, permette di visualizzare in un oggetto EditPoly le facce che hanno meno o più di d 4 lati (quad). Esso aggiorna un tutorial presente nell'Help di MaxScript (How To...Select Non-Quad Polygons).

    Attenzione! Funziona solamente con oggetti POLIGONALI (non mesh ma editpoly)

    Eseguire lo script:

    Aprire semplicemente lo script con "Run Script..." dal tab "MaxScript" presente nella toolsBar di 3dsMax.

    With this useful and simple script, you can create a non-destructive quick map Z-Depth in mental ray.

    -- Quick Help :

    Pick and Select CameraTarget (optional) : select a camera target in the scene for the render.
    The label "target distance (Z Max) suggest the value of max distance Z depth
    Z min: the minimum measurement of depth of the map Z (camera)
    z Max: the maximum measurement of depth of the map Z (traget)
    Preview Z-Depth (active view) : quick preview of the selected view
    Preview Z-Depth (aselected camera) : quick preview of the selected camera target
    Render VFB (output size): Render the z.depth on the Virtual Frame Buffer with the measure in output size (Tab Rendering)

    -- Caution!

    For very complex scene, the analysis may take some time

  17. (3dsMax Script) Quick Ambient Occlusion (mental ray)

    This simple and fun script, creates a fast Ambient Occlusion. It must be used with Mental Ray. The operation is non-destructive, so you do not loose the original settings. I hope it can help you... Enjoy!

    Installation:

    Before installing, delete any previous versions (very important)

    1- Unzip
    2- Copy the folder "Michele71_Script"
    3- Paste then into your folder Scripts in Max (like "C:\\Autodesk\3dsMax2010\Scripts")
    4- Start 3DSMAX and run script "Launch_QAO.ms" inside the folder "Michele71_Script"
    5- Go to "Costumize" > "Customize user interface" > "Menus"
    6- In "Category" find "Michele71_Tools" and choose "Quick_Ambient_Occlusion_1.5"
    7- Create new menu in list "Menus" and Drag and Drop the new menu in the "Main Menu Bar".
    8- Drag and drop "Quick Ambient Occlusion" in new menu.

    Versione aggiornata il 15/11/2010


    Questo Script di Utilità permette di aprire Help e Tutorial in finestre separate dall'interfaccia di Max.
    Solitamente quando si apre il file Help in Max, esso è ancorato alla finestra di lavoro. Se chiudiamo quest'ultima, il file viene chiuso con essa e viceversa. Con questo script "Disancoriamo" tale file mantenendolo sempre aperto anche dopo avere chiuso 3dsMax.
    Funziona anche con file .chm, .pdf, .txt, htlm e con pagine Web.

    Installazione:

    1- Decomprimere il file .zip
    2- Copiare la cartella "Michele71_Script"
    3- Incollarla nella propria cartella Scripts in Max (ad Es. "C:\\Autodesk\3dsMax2010\Scripts")
    4- Avviare 3DSMAX e lanciare lo script "Launch_OFH.ms" dentro la cartella "Michele71_Script"
    5- Andare in "Costumize" > "Customize user interface" > "Menus"
    6- In "Category" trovare "Michele71_Tools" e scegliere "OpenFloateHelp_WebExplorer"
    7- Creare un nuovo menù nella lista "Menus" e trascinare il nuovo menù in "Main Menu Bar".
    8- Trascinare "OpenFloateHelp_WebExplorer" in un nuovo menù.

    Nuove caratteristiche:

    Aggiunto il web explorer:

    NOTA BENE:
    Non scrivere "http://" nel Web Explorer, cominciare il proprio indirizzo con "www."

    Testato con Max a 64 bit.
