    se voi guardate cosa usano i professionisti, i professionisti chi guardano per farsi condizionare nelle loro scelte?? ovviamente nessuno, li usano a lavoro, li testano e poi valutano. ed'è la cosa che invito tutti voi se volete avere un approccio più sereno con la materia, facendovi influenzare si dall'artista figo di turno, ma solo fino ad un certo punto.
    Sperimentate di persona e valutate da voi, cosi anche voi potrete poi diventare un pò più ferrati sull'argomento ogni giorni di più che ci perdere le ora sopra....poi citare ancora oggi nel 2017 Alex Roman mi pare inutile, anche dal fatto che lo stesso è diventato famoso facendo un video bellissimo per i cavoli suoi, seguendo il suo mood, mettendoci dentro quello che voleva e sicuramente non limitato dal tempo di una produzione.

    Personalmente non mi son mai trovato male con le Quadro, ma il loro prezzo almeno con le applicazioni che uso quotidianamente è ampiamente ingiustificato, una delusione anche vedere che i "performance driver" che una volta uscivano per boostare le applicazioni 3D non vengano più scritti, anzi spesso e volentieri i driver appena sfornati danno qualche volta dei grattacapi, ed'è già capitato che ho dovuto reinstallare driver precedenti....
     
    Quindi sicuro al 100% che la prossima scheda video è una Gforce, costerà moolto meno ed avrò le stesse performance sui quasi tutte le applicazioni, se non più veloce.
    probabile che le Quadro si trovino più a loro agio con applicazioni come Solidworks, Catia e tutti quei cad parametrici di campo ingegneristico....quindi se non sei in quel ramo ti consiglio vivamente di lasciar perdere.....

    Anzi se vuoi ti vendo la mia Quadro 4000, 150 euro ed'è tua.

    Attualmente seppur non sia lo stesso motore, anche Vray interactive da praticamente lo stesso risultato del render di produzione.....la semplicità può sicuramente attirare un utente che si avvicina al render per le prime volte, ma un utente navigato non trae molti vantaggi in un sistema semplificato, ora come ora l'unica cosa che mi può attirare è la diversa resa che può generare, un output un pò..."diverso" stiamo a vedere che succede, dopotutto ora Corona appartiene a Chaos Group quindi.....mi aspetto grandi cose...

    prima o poi proverò Corona, ma onestamente mi trovo troppo bene con Vray da anche solo desiderare di provarne un'altro.
     
    è semplicemente incredibile come Vray si mangi treni di Udim di di texture a 4K a 32 bit per fare displacement senza batter ciglio, o tirar su tonnellate di poligoni senza mai piantarsi
    se poi penso di aver abbandonato l'irradiance map da almeno 2 anni perchè onestamente visto come è diventato veloce e performante Vray non vi è davvero più l'esigenza di usarla, nemmeno in quei casi dove è palesemente utile e dove prima era sempre stata la scelta migliore.
     
    per me al momento Vray è inabbandonabile. solido come una roccia, veloce come un missile.

    Su MSI il bios va bene di per sè, le prestazioni ci sono, sto usando un bios beta rilasciatomi da MSI, e domani devono darmi altre risposte di dettaglio. Parlando sempre su MSI ci sono dei problemi che devono risolvere sul bios, ma non dettati alla stabilità, da quel punto di vista mi sembra ottimo sulla cpu, poi invece sul discorso Raid e velocità dei dischi ssd_m2 e anche sulle velocità delle vga in Fps devono lavorarci sia MSI che anche le altre marche.
    Ho già caricato lo screen del Vray Benchmark fatto poco fa, allego anche qui.
    Le prestazioni sono notevoli, dal test che aveva fatto dimitar sempre con la stessa mobo e stessa cpu circa 2 mesi fa si è passati da 46 sec a 41 sec, in questo caso con frequenza leggermente inferiore di 25mhz, quindi questo test è fatto a 4.0ghz. Certo che 25mhz fanno veramente poco, vero anche che in questo caso le ram sono a 2933mhz, contro penso il test che aveva fatto dimitar sui 2400mhz; anche se non penso a questo miglioramento dettato dalla frequenza delle ram, ma più che altro agli aggiornamenti di bios che stanno arrivando e sono arrivati, perchè per ora già dai primi di settembre non ci sono più aggiornamenti di bios in campo MSI. Infatti sto utilizzando un bios beta del 20 ottobre.
    In render sulle gpu invece non ci sono differenze o rallentamenti rispetto ad intel sempre trattando VrayRT, engine in comune un po' fra tutti noi!

    Ciao, il tuo lavoro ormai sta spopolando per il web

    Ma mi viene da chiederti come hai operato nella realizzazione della diffuse map
    perchè per cosi appare assomiglia molto ad una proiezione di una foto o di un fotogramma su un modello non molto verosimigliante, di primo acchito pare si porti dietro una parte di luci ed ombre dell'immagine che è stata usata per la proiezione
    a spingermi ulteriormente in questa mia affermazione sono i render delle viste di tre quarti che non hanno lo stesso impatto visivo di quella centrale, inoltre una di esse ( quella di sinistra ) ha nella zona sotto della mascella una mezzatinta e colorazione un pò poco convincente.
    diciamo che se la mia analisi non risultasse farlocca il modello in questione non terrebbe verosomiglianza con l'attore nel caso di un turnable a 360 gradi.

    ma sentiti pure libero di correggermi se non alla fine cosi non è.

    Ciao, grazie a tutti.
    Farins: la tua obbiezione me l'hanno posta in molti. La finalità del portrait in questione era quella di realizzare la scena del film cercando di evocarla nel modo migliore, in quanto mi piace ricreare il ritratto fotografico più che il turnaround. quindi una volta creata una topologia anatomicamente funzionale mi sono concentrato fortemente nel raggiungere la somiglianza nel render principale tramite vray.  Era l'obbiettivo e tirando le somme  sono contento del risultato. Ho voluto aggiungere in più al render principale anche lo zbrush e  un immagine con le viste 3/4 del volto (dove ho anche disattivato gli hair x velocità di render ) perchè si intuisse la genuinità della scelta in questione senza problemi, anche mettendo a nudo i limiti del modello in un eventuale turnaround poichè  non puntavo a quello. Sono certo che esistano modelli 3d più fedeli, avrei potuto prestare più attenzione  alla somiglianza nella vista left  ma visto il poco tempo a disposizione mi sono ritenuto soddisfatto e  ho preferito chiudere il ritratto in fretta tralasciando la questione. Magari in futuro finalizzeròcil modello in una nuova versione 2.0

    se volete alto dettaglio di stampa di modelli relativamente piccoli ( tipo minauature warhammer per intenderci ) vi consiglio di lasciar pedere le FDM e orientarsi verso le stampanti a resina

    ormai sicuro che ognuno dei vecchi user lavora da anni nel settore e non ha più tempo e voglia di bazzicare tra i forum.
     
    quindi che le nuove leve diano una sferzata di vita, o per lo meno facciano capire a chi lavora nel siti di grafica come D@ve cosa devono fare per creare loro una sede virtuale per confortarsi e riunirsi come facevamo noi un tempo in queste pagine

    Salve a tutti.

    Recentemente ho rimesso mano ad dei miei vecchi lavori, già pubblicati diversi anni fà su questo portale ( credo 10 anni fà più o meno ) per svecchiarli e ridargli una resa piu consona ai livelli attuali.

    Il tutto è cominciato partecipando ad un concorso su Humster 3D "Most Legendary Car Competition" alla quale sono arrivato ad un felice secondo posto.

    Lasciandomi poi prendere la mando ho fatto diversi render dei modelli nuovi aggiornati, e li condivido con voi, sperando siano graditi.

    le versione uploadate sono compresse e ridotte, le originale sono di 4000 pixel, purtroppo ho difficoltà nel condividerle in quando Google drive mi ha forzatamente costretto a usare la nuove orribile versione....che non ha molte opzioni di condivisione......tanto per cambiare....
